2. Why should I use a travel agent instead of booking myself?

Nicole Schaub is the owner and primary travel agent with CTA credentials as a Certified Travel Associate. She has traveled extensively (including multiple Caribbean destinations, European cities, cruises, etc.), and holds several specialist certifications (Jamaica, Aruba, Mexico, Florida, Disney, etc.), along with CLIA and IATA credentials.

5. What are your fees or how do you get paid?

​

Fun and Leisure Travels charges a travel design fee in some cases. This helps cover the time and resources needed to put together an itinerary tailored to you.

6. Do you offer travel insurance and excursions?

​

Yes. We offer assistance with travel insurance. We can also arrange excursions to enhance your vacation experience.

7. How much in advance should I book?

​

While it depends on your destination and travel preferences, generally:

  • For popular destinations (e.g. Disney, Caribbean, Europe), booking several months in advance is wise.

  • For less in-demand travel, maybe 1-3 months ahead can work.
    Booking in advance helps with better rates, more lodging options, and more availability.

8. What if my plans change or I need to cancel?

​

  • Policies depend on the vendors (airlines, hotels, cruise lines, excursions). We will provide the cancellation terms up front.

  • If travel insurance is purchased, many plans cover unforeseen events depending on the policy.

  • We are available to help you navigate changes whenever possible.
